Shipwright is a service of Santara Consulting Limited ("we", "us", "our"). This page explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
If you book a call, we collect the details you provide through our booking tool (Calendly) — typically your name, email address and any notes you add about your company or project.
If you email us directly, we hold the contents of that email and your email address for as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable record of the conversation.
We use analytics to understand how visitors use this site. This doesn't identify you personally.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange or hold a call.
- To keep a record of conversations with prospective and existing clients.
- To meet our own legal and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Booking a call uses Calendly, and email uses standard email providers — both process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We don't share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client correspondence for as long as it's relevant to our working relationship, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting or tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to explain how we use it. To do so, email matt@santara.consulting.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
